Welcome to the Blue Border Web Cam section. This is the place for puppy buyers and other Border Collie enthusiast to watch the new Blue Border puppies growing up.

You can control the cameras over the Internet, so you can move the cameras around looking for the dogs or keeping an eye on bwhat the are doing.

Right now our Doggy Cam Webcam4 shows the north-west corner of the dogs large area.

How to control the camera: First click on the Control button:

The button changes to this: and you now have 3 ways to control the camera.:

bulletIf you click somewhere in the picture, the camera will automatically center at that point.
bulletYou can also select one of the "Preset positions" from the drop-down box below the Pan/Tilt button. Then the camera will automatically move to that preset position.
bulletClick on the Pan/Tilt button again to  access the control panal, you can use to move the camera with.

It takes 3 - 5 seconds before that camera moves, so please show a little patience when moving the camera. The number that counts down next to the Pan/Tilt button are the time allocated for each user. If there camera is already in use, you will be notified about how many seconds it takes before you can control the camera.

Please notice: Before you can watch pictures from the WebCams for the first time, you need to have installed an Active-X object in your Internet Explorer. The installation is automatic, but Windows XP SP2 will warn you against this. You can safely ignore these warnings and install Active-X objects from Sony.

The web camera feeds live streaming video directly to your own PC. The picture is updated as quickly as your internet connection allows - we feed the pictures to the internet on a dedicated T1 2 Mbit internet connection. With a dial-up connections the picture updates app. every 8 seconds. With a fast internet connection the picture updates a few times each second. Note: If you get a completely dark picture, it only means that it is dark outside - the pictures are strictly daylight!
