Ziggy (Blue Borders Jezabel)

Kennel Blue Border is very proud to announce that His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and his wife Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary has chosen a Border Collie puppy from our kennel as their new family dog. The puppy is a wedding present from the Danish Kennel Club to the royal couple, and since the royal couple wanted a brown Border Collie puppy, Blue Borders Jezabel was chosen. The puppy moved in at the royal castle in Fredensborg in April, and has already appeared on the cover of Danish weekly magazines.

Blue Borders Jezabel: Blue Borders Jezabel is a red/white (chocolate) Border Collie bitch puppy. She is born on January 13th, and has a Danish Kennel Club pedigree. She is out of pure English Border Collie lines, both her parents being Ghostland Border Collies. Her father Ghostland Copper Charm is very well known in England and frequently appears in newspapers and television.

Jezabel, which Crown Princess Mary has chosen to call ”Ziggy”, has been carefully chosen to be able to live up to the many demands of being a royal dog. At kennel Blue Borders we have kept two of the puppies from Jezabel’s litter, and of the other 4 puppies, two of them lives in Demark and two are exported to Holland and Spain.

Kennel Blue Border: Kennel Blue Border has been breeding Border Collies since year 2000. Our kennel is situated in the countryside, not to far from Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. We have 20 adult Border Collies, many imported from abroad and the rest of our own breeding. In our breeding we put high emphasis on the dog’s temperament, and we aim to breed good family dogs.

The Blue Border Kennel is visited by several hundred people every year, who wants to see the many dogs, hear more about the Border Collie Breed or participate in one of the monthly information seminars.

One of the special things about the Blue Border Kennel is our efforts to provide better service to our puppy buyers. Therefore it is possible to follow the puppies by webcam from the moment they are born, and every Sunday is “puppy-cuddling-day”, where al the puppy buyers come to visit their new puppy until it is old enough to leave home.

At Kennel Blue Border we also test every puppy carefully, so we are sure to match every puppy well with its new family. All Blue Border puppies also carry a life-time guarantee, which means that if the new puppy buyers at any time during the dogs lifespan, should be unable to keep the dog, Kennel Blue Border will take responsibility for the dog, and make sure it gets a good home.
